I wrote a random one off a while back, wanting to write for TV. Several companies got in touch wanting me to write for one of the the biggest duos in TV sketch comedy. I decided not to bother. laugh.gif

I minus one to your plus one. huh.gif

PS...Screenplay is being copyrighted by said lawyer Mr. Hoffman, and being looked at by a literary agent in L.A.

Cha-ching!!

You can't do what you can't do. It that simple smile.gif

Good luck with the screenplay but bare in mind there a lot of people who will charge you for what you very easily do yourself... see what they offer you before thay ask for money.

PS It may be worth a few quid to find out... where does that leave you biggrin.gif

#3192754 Screenplay

Yes.

A while ago we sent a comedy to 6 production houses.

One phoned to arrange a meeting.

They didn't want what we written (Nothing wrong with it but it's typical) what they did want was scripts for Griff Rhys Jones and Mel Smith. (Hmmm longer ago than I think biggrin.gif)

We didn't didn't think they were good enough or funny so we didn't bother.

Currently I have a bottle of Talisker which I don't think I'd want again. It's quite distinctive especially the after-taste, but not my cup of tea really.

J&B Rare was alright IRC - quite cheap too.

Irish... dunno.

For tuppence worth I'd like to say that people trying to understand "Why BNP" should be applauded.

The alternative being "They're bad because I say so and that's it" is damnable.

You made me smile smile.gif Ta GTU

Failing them Citizen's Advice tend to know.

If you google it, you will find that there are connections with cheese and dreaming. I'm saying it's been proven, but it's pretty obvious that I'm not the only one who thinks it. Making that a lot more exeptions to medical science.

Lots of people think homoeopathy is "proven" and swear by its effects.

These people are selecting information which makes them appear right... they are not right.

Any indicator that cheese really does cause dreams is remarkably absent.

Generally speaking they use to spend more time on the mono. The stereo version was a bit of an afterthought.

(If the newer stereo is any cop I know not)

What?

It's not sponsoring McDonald's, it's a charity, you berk, and I'm not a slave.

From their website:

"What's the relationship between Ronald McDonald House Charities and McDonald's Corporation?

RMHC UK receives considerable support from all UK McDonald's Employees, Franchisees and customers."

Meaning that they donate to the charity, and do various fundraising things for it (I've participated in a few myself and raised hundreds, along with friends, colleagues and bosses/owners). They're not taking the money for McDonald's.

You are assisting McDonald's cooperate image for free and supporting their somewhat questionable marketing.

Well done.

Oh, boohoo.

You twat.

You're still working for McDonald's smile.gif
