Hey guys, I need the dimensions of your average acoustic guitar in inches. I would like the width, heighth, and depth so I can make an acoustic slot for my future acoustic in a guitar holder I am building.

Thanks. smile.gif

What kind of body style? A Dreadnought wont fit in a classical acoustic case.

Well, it is more like a big box which will be holding several guitars. We'll say dreadnought.

For Martin's dimensions try this link. Most guitars conform closely to these measurements, but some makers have slightly different body dimensions. These should do for most acoustic guitars however.

Depending if it is a jumbo, classical, student(learners), thinline(ie alvarez) it will have a different sizes.

If you have a good idea of what guitar your going to be building it around, use those measurements...acoustics come in so many sizes it would suck to build for one, and then have it not fit wink.gif

There is a fine line between insanity and genius and I think i crossed it...but what side I am on is still unclear.
