Is this item new or used?
Used
Features:
This amp has 2 Channels, a 20db boost, reverb, fx loop, record compensated out, and a simgle speaker
Construction:
This is a solid Marshall amp, built like a tank in a wooden case about 12/13mm thickness with a metal chassis for the components.
good solid design!
Sound:
When i first got this amp it had alot to be desired, the clean channel was great, but on the distorted channels it sounded tinny and raspy... after reading reviews i found the best fix was to change the speaker... so i opted for a celestion vintage 30, and its perfect for distortion: this amp cant hit metal tones, but for classic rock/ free/hendrix/zeppelin sound its perfect.
Ease of Use:
It has knobs with numbers and names, turn the knob above the name u want and ahhh, bisto... u got that sound...
its hard not to get a bad sound with this speaker...
with the stock speaker its hard to get a good sound on the distorted channel!
Reliability:
after getting it, it didnt work for about 15 mins... then suddenly came on... i put it down to having just travelled over 100 miles in the back of a courier van...
when i went to band practise we got it upstaires and it wouldnt power the 3 preamp valves for about 10 mins, i had to give it a whack to et it going... but it started to work... maybe a loose connection... i need to have a look see...
Overall:
overall, this amp sounds great... besides its cutting out, and its crappy speaker... with the changed speaker it really does its job!

Where did you purchase this item?
Ebay
Is this item new or used?
Used, Mint
Features:
Same as above
Construction:
Same as above
Sound:
Clean channel was not what you would except from a marshall.
The stock speaker is poop. But through a cab,
The distortion is hit or miss, you really have to crank it to get tone out of the distortion, maybe 7 or 8 on volume
Ease of Use:
Hit or miss with being able to get the sound "just right"
Reliability:
Mine hasnt caught on fire yet
Overall:
Good amp, shoulda waited and got a DSL50 head for my cab.
Experience Level:
Ameuter, dont do it as a living
