you all probably know there are versions of songs that have been reworked that have a classical feel they are generally much harder to play than the originall and sound relly great. well i heard a guy play a classical finger picking version of claptons Layla that really blew me away just wondered if any one has that tab or knows of it.

cheers

No, but I heard an acoustic instrumental version once on the radio that they never identified who was playing it. Extremely nice, far beyond Clapton's skill-level on an acoustic guitar. I wish I could help.

Was it on a classical guitar?

Between that and maybe the guy rewriting it someone could really change the sound of the song.

For the first time I heard NIN's version of "Hurt", and compared to Johnny Cash's version...I could only tell from the lyrics.

I never thought of that...since the unplugged sounds completely different anyways lol

I wanna hear that instrumental version. I like Clapton, but he's kinda limited on the acoustic (except when he's cover/copying Robert Johnson, which is like, every album lol) I'm gonna see if I can find it.
