Big Gig Tomorrow

I got myself in the door at the best club in the area. I'm opening acoustic for some heavy hitters at Ryan's Ballroom. This could be a real break for me. I can't wait since I don't even have a set list together yet.
I'll let you guys know how I fare...

I've been here since 11/06/01 and I've never been a GTUer of the month. It's 08. I rock.

(The on-stage foot tapping will be a bit thinner than usual.....)

Un-plugged is not the same as
never-was-plugged-in-to-begin-with.

Try and remember when you get on stage, 97% of the people in the audience ARE NOT MUSICIANS, they don't hear small mistakes. If you mentioned that I messed up at this time or that THEY won't know what you are talking about for the shear fact that the ROOM noise or they were ordering a drink/pissing at that mistake, trust me.
It makes gigs much easier on your mind.

Yeah, remember the old musician's adage: If you play one bad note it's a mistake; if you play two bad notes it's jazz!
