How much did you purchase this item for? 100 USD
Where did you purchase this item? On Consignment at a local shop
Is this item new or used? used, late '70s or early '80s
Features: Two knobs, Output and Distortion. No LED on mine, the Dunlop re-issues have LED's.
Construction: The things a friggin tank. If it was used as a projectile weapon, it would cause serious harm.
Sound: Great sound, good smooth almost overdirve sound through crunchy distortion, through an almost fuzzy sound. Great pedal for metal esque playing.
Ease of Use: Two knobs and a button. Doesn't get much easier than this. You can even turn the knobs with your foot.
Reliability: The things been going since at least 1980, so I'd say it's a reliable pedal. It does not have an adaptor jack, so you need to use batteries, but that's not a huge deal, as it does not draw much off the battery anyway.
Overall: Really Really good pedal, well worth it if you are looking for the range of sounds it gives.
Experience Level: Been playing for 4 years, had the pedal for 6 or 7 months, and I use it heavily.

I got the MXR Distortion+ used from ebay!
Its from the late 70's
Features
No features, just 2 knops and a toggle
Features
If urŽon stage and the crowd gets riot...just throw the ting into the crowd...they'll be all dead. after then plug it in again and continue ur playing
Sound
The sound is very good! Pure Heavy Distortion. very scratchy and not too noisy!
But the big BIG BIG BIG problem is that the pedal got nearly NO bass in it! So if you play palm mutes very often...its not the right choice, or get an equalizer!
Ease of Use
well 2 knobs : output and "balls" (distortion)
could it be any easier?
Reliability
look @ constrution
Overall
good pedal but nearly no bass in it!
PS: i use it in front of my clean amp. as a boost in front of my dirty amp ->for me it doesnt work!
Experience Level
2 1/2 years of playing heavy metal and 80's rock! like Megadeth,Black Label Society....
