You want instrumentals, or things with vocals?

Traditional blues, like Adam said. Start with Robert Johnson.

For purelyinstrumental things check some Chet Atkins.

You got some nice stuff here, including powertabs. There are some electric classics... acoustics begin on the list with Big Bil Broonzy.

There are lots of Atkins' songs or songs covered by Atkins. Even if he was not only a bluesman, it's very nice.

Check out Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds: Live at Luther College. It's just the two of them playing acoustic and singing, but i don't know how skilled you are at guitar because some stuff they play is outrageous (like "Stream").

Rough draft - yellowcard
wonderwall- oasis

those are 2 i can think of also

the reason- hoobastank (that sounds pretty good acoustic)
and my personal favorite

Stop crying your heart out - Oasis

that is a very well done acoustic song, very easy to play...

Thanks for that Silver -- You really are one great poet as well as a songwriter with a mind of your own. Really- Dorio

You beat me too it.

However, I have to say that you can certainly play most of the stuff off that album, even if you aren't very good. Granted most people can't whip out Stream, you can at least play the chords and sing. I can play every song on that album, except for Stream and I'm still working on getting Satalite down (I just started on it about two months or so ago, and I haven't been able to pick up a guitar in a month).

Tell me about it. I have been traveling for a month. I left home a month ago today to do disaster recovery work, I thought I was only going to be gone for two weeks, so I didn't bring my guitar with me. I was also thinking that I was going to be moving around a lot down in Florida, but instead I'm up in Pittsburgh and have been here for 3 weeks. I went to a Guitar Center while I was down in Atlanta, and went to a guitar store in Pittsburgh called Ye Olde Pittsburgh Guitars. I actually bought an electric here in Pitt, but it's still on layaway, I'm probably not going to pick it up until right before I leave.

If any of you are in Pittsburgh, check out that store, it on East Carson around the 1400 block or so. They have a lot of nice used guitars and stuff in there. I was really impressed.
