Im thinking of buying this model. Anyone got one. anything i should look out for.
Getting origional case and receipt.

Make sure the neck is straight and the action is reasonable. The neck is not adjustable (I'm assuming you're buying a guitar made in 1978.) Also, look inside on the neck-block for model and serial numbers to be sure it isn't a D-16 (which is a good guitar but not worth as much as an 18). And welcome to GTU.
Un-plugged is not the same as
never-was-plugged-in-to-begin-with.

That would be a killer guitar. My uncle has an old D-18. I'm not sure of the year, but it's a really sweet guitar. One of the best sounding guitars i've ever heard in person.
