well thats a short story so i'll tell it!!
its as simple as my dad (guitar) and brother (bass) are left handed. the lp is a bad westfield copy with a warped neck, the only reason its on the wall is because it looks nice!!! my brother, who doesnt really play any more has a squier precision and my dad has an extremely lovely 70's ibanez copy of lp recording.
as for going to the dark side, i nearly did!! when i first started playing i used to play my brothers and dads stuff upside down, quite strange

The Few and Far Between?
Lets hear it.
dont be a 'the' band. make your name something that will stick out. the only 'the' name that we nearly went for was 'the blind getaway drivers'

My school has as a concert each year and the profits go to help AIDs research. Since they need to raise money, they let all sorts of groups try out and then best 10 groups/acts get to perform. Well the auditions for this competition is on a tuesday. The weekend before there is the school band trip down to Virginia Beach.
It was bad timing with the auditions being on tuesday and we getting home monday, but whatever. I get home, sign online, and the first thing is that our lead guitarist got hit by a car and is in the hospital. So the day before the audition for the first gig, our lead guitarist has a broken leg and a concussion.
definitely murphy's law on that one. But the auditions were moved back two weeks (for unrelated reasons) and we did end up auditioning and performing while our lead guitarist had a broken leg. Hahaa but during the audition, my battery to my active pickup almost crapped out. haha good stuff.

i don't trust harper as far as i could throw him. then again i wouldn't get within a 100 feet of paul martin. it's really a matter of picking the lesser of two evils.

Tne conservatives will be the official opposition. The Liberals will form the next government but they didn't get the majority of the chamber so they'll have to form some kind of coalltion with, most likely, the New Democratic Party. Unfortunatly that kind of government don't last the usual rem lenght wich is 4-5 years. The most pessimistic prediction is that it'll last about a year. On my part i think it'll last about 18 months.
Yeah that is the politic guy talking.
