What all do you play? Not just strings either.

I'm just curious as to what instrment some of you started out on, and all the insturments you know how to play(doesn't have to be good), and what you think your best at.
I started out on trumpet in the fifth grade. I can play bass guitar, guitar, trumpet, french horn, baritone, trombone, and a little string bass. I'm best on my trumpet by far.

piano, guitar, keyboards. in that order. and electric guitar is going to be added on next year when i land a place in concert band. i wish i could add the viola to the list, but i doubt i'll scrape up enough cash for the instrument and the lessons
most comfortable at the piano, by far. i'm pretty good at it, and while i know i can do much better, i'm at a position where i'm pretty much comfortable playing most things. i don't like the keyboards all that much, but i do play them every so often for chamber music, in place of an organ.
i'm okay on the guitar, no where near as good as i'd like to be, but still good enough. been playing for a couple of years now, and i've gotten up to about grade 6 level on the classical guitar. i still suck at sight reading though
. i'm fairly proficient at what i play but i don't think i'm good enough, even though both my previous teachers told me that i had talent
.
and thats about it, piano for going on 11 years now, but i stopped for about 3 years at one point, being the dumb person that i was. guitar, as i've mentioned about two years. keyboards i just dabble around at, its like the piano, only not as nice. i suppose i could say i play the electric piano as well, lol, but thats gonig over the top, hahaha, still prefer the good old baby grands though.

The guy with the Eddie Vedder/Ben Harper pics knows what's up!
I started out playing piano when I was younger, largely due to my mom reading an interview with Paul Simon where he said that he started out on piano and it made learning other instruments much easier later in life.
Don’t feel like home. he’s a little out.
And all these words elope. it’s nothing like your poem.
Putting in. inputting in. don’t feel like methadone.
A scratching voice all alone it’s nothing like your baritone.
- 1st verse from Pearl Jam's "Nothing As It Seems"

And the way the sunlight plays upon her hair
I hear the sound of a gentle word
On the wind that lifts her perfume through the air"

My very first instrument was the piano, but I didn't really liked it, so I stopped after a few years. Now I sometimes play it, but I'm not that good.
when I was young, I used to play the clarinet, but I gave up for a few years and started the guitar. Recently, I picked up my clarinet again and I play it now a few times per week, but I'm not really good at it no more:-)
6 years ago I started playing classical guitar, and after 2 years I bought an electric guitar. I can also play bass guitar and accoustic guitar. the electric guitar is by far the best instrument I can play.
Also, my neighbour has got drums, he plays it very well, and sometimes I can practice on it, I'm getting pretty good!
And last, I'm also do (backing) vocals

Guitar is my first instrument. Been playing (or at least learning) since I was 11. That led to me learning some bass too. Not too bad at either, but best at guitar.
I can also play drums a bit. I can keep a steady beat going easily, I can do some basic fills, I can keep double bass pedals going if not too fast. I don't have a drum kit though, so it's not something I'm great at or have much opportunity to practice.
I also have some basic knowledge of keyboards. I'm not great with them and most of what I can do is based upon theory knowledge rather than practical ability.
Recorder! Yay!
I just bought myself a harmonica. Going to teach myself that. Can't go too far wrong with an instrument that's always in the right key.
I have some general knowledge of some other instruments, as in how they work and how to play them, but knowing and doing are very different things.

Guitar of course. Then harmonica. Banjo, mandolin, bass, piano a bit. I've been getting into fiddle lately.
Un-plugged is not the same as
