I learned to play this song a while ago however the way I play the intro doesn't sound quite right. Ive always played it using hammer ons, however, in the recording it sounds like Bob is playing in a different way. I don't know if its just my ears or if there is another way of playing it.

as Gav was saying...you might need to use some slides. The other thing to remember is that there are some pauses here and there. It's played pretty slowly
