So I thought I'd make a topic about my latest CD purchase. Lately I've been listening to a load of acoustic instrumental/fingerstyle stuff of all styles - John Fahey, Leo Kottke, Don Ross - all of which I'd reccomend, but none of these artists can even compare in creativity terms to Keller Williams... The man is a genius! Although he is using technology to help him layer his music (a sampler) it really does make some interesting music. I haven't heard any of his studio work, and I have no desire to but I have the album "Loop", and that's great, and I'm just after getting "Stage", and I'm even more impressed than I was with "Loop". If you're after some really really creative acoustic instrumental stuff which mixes crazy vocals, guitar, bass and anything else that makes noise give Keller Williams a try.

(Or Kaki King, Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke and Don ross...)

Don Ross is awesome. He is one of my favorite acoustic guitarists. I will have to check out some of these other guys. Thanks! biggrin.gif

Nah, I've got a few downloaded myself... He allows people to record his shows and torrent them non-profit!

Keller Williams is one of my favorites as well. I first saw him over the summer (2004) as he was opening for DMB, the guy is a riot.
