but anyway, yeah, bob dylan is great. i've got all of his albums, personally the best one is highway 61 revisited. just the simplisity of his songs, yet how they changed the world. man, i could talk about him all day, but i'll stop right............................now

yeah, he's that cool

Bob is the man, but his guitar playing wasn't as lame as people thought quite often, he used some neat tunings and knew how to use capos creatively. Baby Blue is a good example as he tunes the sixth string down to C then capos at the second fret and plays it like it's in C, but in reality it's in D so he's got a nifty droning D string on top but the song is played as if in C. That sentence was really awkward, but the song sounds awesome (you can see him play it on Don't Look Back).
Bob was also a pretty good fingerpicker, Don't Think Twice it's All Right was a good example of his Travis skills.

Give me $20 & I'll agree with you
The clock of life is wound but once
And no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop at late or early hour
Now is the only time you own
Live, love, toil with a will
Place no faith in time
For the clock may soon be still

I went to see him a couple of months ago...he was rank rotten!!
Still one of the great songwriters, though...all those people wouldn't have covered his songs otherwise...
