Hey guys! I just got a P.A. system, and my current mics sound like junk when I mic my acoustic. I have to turb the PA volume up really high, and if I get too close, they "roar". Do I need a condenser mic? If so, what are some good affordable condensors?

Thanks!

Have you considered buying an acoustic pickup and then plugging directly into your P.A. ?

I have considered that. Are there any that I wouldn't have to modify my guitar for? That I could just put in the soundhole or something?

Have you tried a Shure SM57? Have you tried matching the impedance of the mike to the input impedance of your p.a. or amp?
