Effects, Amps and their Settings
Discussion of instrument effects (distortion pedals, etc.), amplifiers, as well as different ways to configure them

Wrong section...post this question under the right place and you'll get a better response...some people on this discussion have never used a amp b4 wink.gif

Anyone ever played through one before. I am considering getting one. The one I am considering getting is the am100 model. 100 watts, sounds pretty good. The reason I am considering getting this is because it is a high range brand, or a low range brand. And to tell you the truth, it has a really good clean acoustic sound, very natural. It isn't a Genz Benz Shen 100, but it is better than kustom or behringer. It is also made in the USA so that is good. It also has an outstanding warranty. 2 years they will replace it if it breaks, even if it is your fault. And then 10 years on electronics and stuff. Now that I have elaborated, what do you all think?

Ahh, well from your last post, it sounds like you just want one of us to agree it is a good amp...I agree. wink.gif

And I searched, and couldn't find a question about this amp in the amp discussion...maybe it got lost.

The only thing I didn't really like about it, was the fact that it didn't have a 1/4" headphone line out, it has an xlr jack out. Can you buy an attachment that changes xlr to 1/4" to plug in headphones?

Are you talking about the amp, or the adapter?

If it is the adapter it is like 10 bucks.

The amp retails for like $550 to $580
