Hey all, I'm currently putting (or trying to put) a playlist together for an acoustic gig. What would you say are some of the best, finest acousitc duet songs you've heard (or played)? Or what do you think would sound good acoustically? I'm talking ANYTHING, (Rock, Alternative, Blues, Country) It really doesn't matter, I'm open for any ideas. I'd appreciate your feedback!

" Hotel California " and " Behind Blue Eyes " are two I can think of off the top of my head.

Chet Atkins/Les Paul.

Or any other more jazzy guitarist Chet took on.

listen to:

Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds- "live at luther college"
damien rice
simon and garfunkel
beatles
james taylor
maroon 5
matchbox 20
oasis
slightly stoopid
sublime

these arent all neccessarily acoustic duets but you could play them with another and make them for two guitartists.

Little Martha is two guitars.

A fairly easy, but sweet tune. You should definitely give that one a shot for your gig.

yeah, the second guitar just plays bass notes pretty much, which can easily be accomodated in your fingerpicking pattern.
