My amp doesn't really register in the high notes. Pretty much anything on the high e. I don't here it at all. Unless I set it to delay, and I can here it but very faintly. I have tweaked with it quite a bit, and still can't get it. Is there anything I can do to get those sounds, or should i return it? The pickup works fine. It must be the amp. Thanks.

What kind of guitar do you have? Something on the guitar might be off. Not the pickup, the tone and that on the guitar (if it has that).

Also, it may be your cable if you have a cheaper one.

billy16 is right. My experience has been that if an amp (or a cord) takes a dump you will hear it on all notes. Sounds like it's the pickup. If you have a magnetic soundhole pickup it could be a malfunction under the high E. Otherwise (and I apologize if this sounds stupid, but you never know) check the tone adjustments on the amp. Could be some amp gremlins snuck in and turned your treble EQ all the way down. unsure.gif

One way to check the amp is plug another guitar into it and see if the problem's there. If not, it's your pickup. Good luck.
