Instead of having to get a new acoustic, I'm just going to put a nut for a lefty guitar on mine. That will resolve much of the problems because they lie within the height of the strings, my ow E is at 4mm and my high e isn't even 1 mm. There's a lot of issues there, buzzing, cutting out when bending, that sort of thing. The saddle is the same height for the strings, so there's no issue with that.
Could I get a nice bone or graphite lefty nut on E-bay? And when I put it on, I don't need much glue do I? I've been told little glue will hold it on. I might not glue it at all, the nut on my last guitar was off, and when I put the strings on, it held up. That will cost considerably less than what the shop wanted to do it. $60 for a new nut. $60 is just rediculous when I can get a nut for maybe $20 and maybe $4 for glue.

It's a Wal-Mart one, go figure. I just want a cheap fix so I can save towards the guitar I really want, a Taylor 110 dreadnought.
My action is all screwed up. What I may do for now is cut out some of the nut so the A and E strings fit in. It's not the neck because I restrung it the right way, and it didn't buzz at all, when it's strung lefty, that's where I get the issues. The saddle is somewhat a plateau, so the height of the strings is fine from there. The nut, since it's backwards is causing the high action on some strings, and the low action on others.
The frets are alright, I checked that first.
