I have an Ibanez AW 100 CENT. Have had it for about 1 1/2 years and I love it. I play everyday by myself and at church on Sunday. I have some professional country band guitar players play it when we just jam and they really like it alot. They always give it a second look when playing it. It cost me $550 at a local music store. I would recommend go to a store and playing one. Try this link:

It has alot of reviews on Ibanez or any other guitar you may be thinking about

Ibanez makes guitars for Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. That should tell you if they are good or not. (btw, they are two of the greatest living guitarists around right now.)

Don't fool yourself, she was heartache from the moment that you met her.

Ibanez make decent-very good electric guitars, but I personally don't think their acoustics are up to snuff. But try some out, and see what you think. It's all opinion.

Ibanez make some great electric and acoustic guitars. I own an Ibanez Talman and love it. Great guitar. Alot of their acoustics are electro-acoustic.

I have an Ibanez PF 5 and I love it! I've tried more pricey guitars and they do sound better but for the money that I paid, I think the PF 5 is well worth it! But as the others have said, it's all opinion. Play a variety of guitars and then decide because it's not the name, it's the sound that you're looking for!

Good luck,

D

Ibanez is great. I only paid $150 for my GRX20 and it's held up great for me. Excellent sound, structure, everything.

I bought one of their mandolins, and it's a great instrument for the money I paid for it. When I first started playing, the only good guitars were Martin & Guild, and I couldn't afford either one. Then companies like Yamaha & Ibanez started making affordable versions of these guitars. I imagine, with modern manufacturing techniques, they're probably better quality than they were then. Just remember, you get what you pay for. Good wood costs money - good tuning machines cost money, etc.

They are very good guitars for the price, incredably good value for money. Sure, they're not going to be as good as an ES-175 etc but for a fraction of the price you get a pretty decent guitar. Well worth checking out.
