First of all, welcome to GTU!
Secondly, great question!
Now for my answer. I'm going to go with While My Guitar Gently Weeps even though it's not an accoustic song! I also like to play Something, Here Comes the Sun, and Rocky Raccoon.
D
Can anyone tab out the solo in Something for an inept strummer?
I've seen the tab on GTU and can get 1/2 way thru with it sounding decent then something goes wrong. And I mean that literally! Help if you can!
Thanks,
D

If you can get you hands on an instructional video put together by Andrew Dubrock he shows lessons in how to play Blackbird,Across the Universe,Julia,Yesterday,Dear Prudence,Norwegian Wood. Its easy to follow and quite accurate to the original versions.Worth a look.

My favourite as well!
How come you reckon it's not acoustic?
The clock of life is wound but once
And no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop at late or early hour
Now is the only time you own
Live, love, toil with a will
Place no faith in time
For the clock may soon be still

Okay, other than that fact, how come it's not accoustic?
Just kidding!
It sure sounds sweet capoed at the 7th fret on accoustic!

All of the above - recently I checked out Blackbird on GTU. I've played it for years, but generally faked the middle "blackbird fly" part. The version I checked out is pretty good, and it straightened out that middle section for me. For years I've played a fingerstyle version of Because which I got off a book I had long ago called Beatles for Classical Guitar or something like that. I highly recommend it. From the same books - there's two issues - I still play a great arrangement of Fool on the Hill, there was a great version of Here There and Everywhere, but sadly I've forgotten this one. I need those books again. I like jamming on Daytripper too - there must be at least a hundred others that I've played at some time or other. Still love to play Here Comes the Sun..... Another favourite is ......I could go on and on....... Oh and I shouldn't forget She's So Heavy.....
