Is it possible to get a Jazzy/Blues/Folk/Classical/Country/Funky type of sound in one Steel String Acoustic Guitar in a Cutway style? for about 700$(USD). Because most acoustic guitars i've played on were sometimes too sharp, too mellow, or way dull or too bright. Some were great, but i cannot recall the company names.
Like, Joe Pass, Django, Skip James, Adrian Legg, mellow nylon sounds, Doc Watson, John Mayer/Jack Johnson/Dave Matthews/Raul Midon type of sounds?
Thanks.

Geez - you don't ask much do you? A quick Google search will get you to Tommy Emmanuel's site - if you like his music, the guitar is a Maton. There is a Tommy Emmanuel model too.

For me it's a track of his I play called Countrywide but his style has evolved a lot since this was recorded. He had hugely successful albums in Australia back when he played a Telecaster. Now he plays mostly acoustic fingerstyle - he made a duet album with Chet Atkins just before Chet passed away. To be honest most of my memories of his playing are from the 80s and 90s . Last time I saw him play was during the Olympics here in Sydney. But I can honestly say I've never heard anyone get quite the range of sounds out of an acoustic guitar that Tommy gets out of his Maton. Oh and I'm a Maton player, you may have guessed - I'm happy with mine,
