Hey all! I am asking for your help for that question: How to stop talking/singing/breathing from my diaphragm? Right now I am trying to breath from my chest - it's little uncomfartable... I am not singer, just learned about that technique. I want to get back my talking method direct through mouth and breathing(not from my abdomen). I want to unstrenghten my diaphragm muscle.
Thanks, hrOOM

hey smashamp47
as I said "I am not singer, just learned about that technique".
And I really wanna stop that diaphragm breathing and I most of all I want to learn again how to talk _not from my diaphragm_ but just the normal method - from mouth.
Tnx, hr00m

why?
Why would you want that? Talking and singing from the diaphram is what you want...I'm failing to understand

Don't fool yourself, she was heartache from the moment that you met her.

there is no advantage to singing or talking from the chest. but in order to do it, lay on your back, take a deep breath in and make sure your chest rises (suck your stomach in...) once you have done that begin speaking. there you've done it.
i agree with everyone else though... why do you care? even if you're not a singer there's nothing wrong with talking from your diaphram.

I don't want that as I said 2 times. If you can tell me how stop breath/talk from diaphragm it will be cool.
I think you are confused my friend
diaphragm breathing is when your stomach rises, like breathing through your stomach. that is what every singer wants

OHH NO!!!
I said 5 times that I am not a singer ;]!
I want to learn how to talk without using my diaphragm!? How?! Speak with my throat or how? I wanna speak the way I spoke when I was 5 years old
).
From the throat out - without using singer organs or talking organs

i think we get the point that youre not a singer since you said it 5 times and i think others understand and theyre just asking why. I have the same question as well. Why do you want to sound like a kid? And i dont have an answer for you but i just felt like adding 1 to my post count

My breathing became so deep that I am unable to talk correctly. I am breathing from the lowest point ever you can imagine - 5cm's below my navel... I am really scared becouse I want to solve this problem, will you help me? My question is how to talk at least from my throat. Best for me will be upper than throat maybe - the mouth. Please don't ask me any other questions, just help me if you can...

take a belt and pull it very tight just below your ribs
then breathe
that should fix the problem (it may take awhile before you can do it without the belt though)
then breathe
that should fix the problem (it may take awhile before you can do it without the belt though)

Then, from where I will be breathing and talking after the problem is fixed?

First off... yes I know you are not a singer and how much óf a pain it must be to have that teqnique (sp?) come to you naturally.
Ok maybe you dont wanna sing... but why would you stop breating into your stomach? I have been breathin into my chest my whole life, and it gives me certain disadvantages. It is really good for your body if you always breathe into your stomach. More air will circulate, you will find it easier to relax... its just better!
I have been trying for so long getting used to this stomach breathing and exercising my diaphragm, but its really not easy getting used to.
I cant think why anyone would want to breathe from their chest...
