anybody got any info on this guitar thinking of getting one want to know if there as good as line 6 say they are playing a takamine g series through a AER alpha amp at moment.

the variax, for me, would only be useful as a travelling, gigging musician's main axe, especially if uo play multiple tunings. otherwise, the features will be useless. seriously, tone over features, every time.
