okay, here's the deal. my mom's friend and i were jamming and just fiddling around, when all of a sudden i hit this random lick without thinking, and then realized that i was playing Simon and Garfunkel's "59th street bridge song"....
anyways back to the point. my mom and her friend then started discussing the song and came to the conclusion that when simon and garfunkel play this live, they play it as a duet, with one person playing that song and another person playing some other song.... and we can't think of what the other song was.....
my question: does anybody know what the other song was????
and yeah, i know this belongs in discussion, but i figure i was playing my acoustic at the time of the discussion mentioned, so it's going in the acoustic forum...

I think they're thinking of "Scarborough Fair / Canticle"
yup, that's the one! haha funny cuz i kept telling my mom that i thought it was with a different song, but she wouldn't believe me.....thanks though
EDIT: actually nevermind, that's not it either. i just listened to it and my mom said that's not what she was thinking of....
