New Guitar! Nato Neck? Rate Topic:

I just purchased this guitar. I have not received it yet, but the product description says that it has a nato neck. What does that mean?

Sorry if I end up coming off like a smart-a**. All it means is that the guitar neck is made out of Nato Wood, which to my knowledge isn't too bad.

It's a "softer" hardwood, like mahogany or maple - it's not some kind of synthetic or plastic - cheaper than making a neck out of rosewood.

thats a very nice guitar... im looking into buying something in that style.. but im not ready to spend big bucks since im just now starting to learn.....

Hey, thats a pretty nice guitar. The Nato neck is a less expensive neck compared to the Rosewood, but as long as it sounds and looks good to you, thats all that really matters.
