i wanted to know what everyone thought of this set listfor an acoustic gig i want to do soon its not in any order.

tears in heaven- eric clapton
dust in the wind- kansas
peace train- cat stevens
father and son- cat stevens
hurt- johnny cash
ring of fire- johnny cash
forever young- bob dylan
american pie- don mclean
some 12 bar blues jams

it'll me me playing acoustic and singing, and someone else playing guitar and some percussion depending on the song, i'll be playing for a while and didn't wanna repeat anything. i'm also up for suggestions.

Looks like a pretty good set-list to me. Nice variety. (Where are you playing? I'm near the Ferndale area from time to time.)
Un-plugged is not the same as
never-was-plugged-in-to-begin-with.

i'll pm you when i get it all set up, it might take a little longer than i though before since my friend has a odd schedule of classes and just told me he has no car.

I used to subscribe to "Sing Out! Magazine" years ago (which the book is a collection of I think) and there were always some good tunes in it. I've never seen the book but I can imagine it's a real trove of good tunes.
