Just about the easiest tab that I can think of is "Goodbye Cruel World" by Pink Floyd.
Here it is in its entirety.

where would we be without our mini-mod?
did u get to start your bass yet junior? also decided on your pickups yet?
since last time we talked about it, i have been doing lots of reading and found some information about difficulties in using 2+ pickups.
so let me know what you are settling on. i can build you a pickup too
(yes i am into pickup winding at the moment! they are finding their way into my new set of basses which will be for sale next Christmas)!

*Topic highjacking alert has been set off*
Pick ups placement and wiring i suppose?
As for the choice of pick ups, i will go with Bart all the way.
And for the neck i may get very lucky. If things work out i will get my hand on a genuine Fender Precision 5 strings neck!!! WOUHOU!!!
*turn off topic highjacking alarm*

*smashes the highjacking alarm system* we dont need that
we are only 10-15 users in total on here hehehe. locking threads is just a waste of space that we can use
you cant go wrong with Barts but then again i have been introduced into tons of other brands out there that are as good as Barts or even better. depends on your liking! There are two people that are located next to you who are great luthiers and pickup makers:
Carey Nordstrand -nordstrandguitars.com- (been talking to him for a while. if only his pickups are a cheaper, i would be buying from him)
Sheldon Dingwall -dingwallguitars.com- (he is into the wildest new inventions in guitar making and Neodymium magnets which i am exploring at the moment. winding my first pups of Neodymium soon).
they are both located in Saskatoon.
both have extreme pickups that can be coil tapped and split from humbuckers to single coils or split coils. such configurations will save you all the hassle of 2+ pickups.

Thanks for the links and info Nader. I look at those Dingwall but i am not sure about them. I mean everything seem a bit slanted
I really like those Nordstand PU tho. Plus they are here in Canada so that's mean big economy for me on both shipping and duty fee. Only set back: there split coil for a five strings look like a J PU...
Why oh why? But just for the economy i'll make using them that'll make me think real hard about them.
But a full set of Barts would sound so nice...

i never said a single bad thing about Barts
they are top class stuff but sometimes they are not the best
some dude off talkbass.com set up a Tone Library of tons of different pickups and basses.
this is one: http://www.subsonicfamily.com/bass/
trying to find the second one.
as for Dingwall, the guy invented (i think) the fanned fret system. if you look closely enough, you will understand how this whole thing acts. his low B string intentionally is 38" scale and his high G or C is 32 or 34". i cant remember respectively. but the whole idea that the slanted frets as well as bridge and nut give you that extended scale as your strings get thicker. the pickups are slanted to be in parallel to the frets and obeying the laws of fanned fret system. that would give you the same dynamic output as pickup placed respectively in an upright normal position.
extremely neat stuff if you ask me! great inspiration for me!
