my new guitar...... Rate Topic: -----

well its not really new, had it for a little bit now and really love it. it keeps gettin better.
heres a pic from the site, i dont have my camera right now.


its a takamine eg532sc, and it sounds and plays great...also it doesnt look to shabby....even better in real life.

If it sounds as good as it looks you've got a great guitar! Congratulations. And that split saddle is a nice touch too.
Un-plugged is not the same as
never-was-plugged-in-to-begin-with.

The word that comes to mind..in a very positive way..is 'pretty'.

Looks really nice.

I played around with a takamine a few months back in the local store and it sounded and felt lovely.

I reckon you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of that baby.

It looks pretty nice, I usually don't like guitars of that shape. Don't like the split saddle either.

Actually a split-saddle is a technical up-grade. If you notice on some guitars the saddle at the G-string is carved a bit differently than the rest. For some reason (probably because it's the thinnest wound) the G requires special compensation than the other strings to be intonated correctly. Usually a luthier will just carve back the saddle under the G a bit to try to compensate as much as possible. The split-saddle is able to compensate more accurately. (Ask Adds about it. He's a luthier and he uses split saddles on his personal guitars.)
