Whether anyone has seen it or not, I've been known to diss Fender acoustic guitars here and there on these forums. Not so much diss though, as simply stating my hatred for them.
Well, a few days ago, wandering around the local mall with a couple of friends, I went into the usual music story and just started grabbing random guitars off the wall and playing 'em. They don't mind, they encourage it most of the time. Anyway, I grabbed hold of a guitar that just felt great in my hands, and sounded wonderful. It was easy to play, had a nice mellow sounds, but still had a nice little "pop" in the sounds, if you know what I mean. It was just an all-around great guitar.
The first thing I did was check the price, it was only $289, which blew my mind, since most guitars I've played around that price don't sound as fantastic as this one did. Then, checking the brand-name, it turned out to be a Fender guitar. It blew my mind. I've played tons of Fender acoustic guitars, but never have I played one that I like. Certainly, not one that I wanted the minute I picked up.
I feel odd now, since there is a Fender guitar out there I like...
Thanks for listening. Have a sweet one!!

You were playing one of the new fender acoustics made in Tacoma Washington. They bought the Tacoma Guitar factory, S-canned the product line and are now turning out Fender Acoustics using cheap but very skilled labor.
Just an idea... Not an actual serving suggestion.

Each guitar is different and has it's own personality...
of course how they sound depend much on the strings on it...

My love...talena atfield...
We all die...It's just a question of time...
So make the best of this times and don't ask why...
It's not a question but a lesson learned in time...

that is so true. that is why you should keep you'r mind open for possibilites when wondering around a store shoping for guitars. just about everyone I have picked up sounds a little different. but unfortunatly for me I cant afford to buy them all
as for fender and a few off brands. I guess it depends on what sound you'r looking for at the time . in my case I rarely find the exact sound im looking for ( or what pleases me). if you found a good sound for just under $300. if I were you I would snatch it up before it's gone.
