So, i just started playing guitar and taking lessons for about a year now. In the beginning I just got a Squire acoustic b/c i wasn't real sure if i would get hooked on playing guitars and I didn't want to watse a bunch of money, you know? Now I'm sure I'll be playing guitar for a while and i've decided it's almost time for a new guitar, but seeing as i've only had one guitar i really don't know where start looking for a good new one. I want one that has good tone and quality and an overall good sound, and that will last me for a good while. i also want one that will plug into an amp (so everyone can hear my greatness...yeah right) anyway, my price range right now is somewhere from $300 to $500(at tops). I'm open to all suggestions, thanks!

My love...talena atfield...
We all die...It's just a question of time...
So make the best of this times and don't ask why...
It's not a question but a lesson learned in time...

they sound good but watch out for bowl backs cos they slide off ya leg
just as your getting hot
it really depends on what you want to be playing
the big fender acoustics have a great sound on open chords but ,can be difficult to finger the chords and have a fat neck which can make a soloey thing difficult
i mainly play electric but have a 3/4 size fender with slinky strings for blues
and a canadian art and lutherie full size which has a nice tone for its price 140GBP
whatever feels right when you play is your guitar.
