If you want to help keep GTU online, look through the tabs. Find and report any tabs that contain lyrics, as requested of Rob, and the tab review team will take it from there!
Thanks!
Superwinkie Theme Song -- a la brokenmirror

We have no great war, no great depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives.

When will these people realise that sites such as this actually supplement and support the industry?
I hope I'm wrong, but I suspect, without all the files that contain lyrics, GTU is finished anyway

How about a certain user looks through A and another through B....one bass, another guitar, and stuff like that so it is done in a more efficien way?

Fall Out Boy- Nobody puts baby in the corner
By the way, mind posting the groups already cleaned? It would save me a whole lot of time.

Sometimes the lyrics are necessary just to know where we are in the tune ! I suggest that we disguise them . For instance I have just tabbed Call Me the Breeze by JJ Cale :
the lyrics should read like this :
T_ c_ me the b_ I k_ b_ down the r_
( =They call me the breeze, I keep blowing down the road)
What do you think of that ?
Anyway I have submitted about 30 tabs to GTU , most of them with lyrics and I see that the reviewers have started deleting them !
Should we re-submit them without the lyrics ?

I meant that the lyrics of a song are known or maybe found still in innumerable places on the web. If it just a matter of not compromising GTU why not limit ourselves to a few hints.

Agreed. I hate to see it come to this, but in an industry that's come to be fueled by corporate greed what do you expect? I got a bellyfull of all the music industry's crap back in '85 when I got at cross purposes with ASCrAP and BMI over instumental versions of covers I was playing at "filler" gigs in restaurants.
Been pickin' for 46 years and not gonna stop. Just doing it under the rader for the last twenty.

Most people that care do know that already. The morons in suits, though, will look for any excuse to sue. They must really need the money. After all, most of their artists aren't bringing in as much as they used to. Then again, with the mediocre (at best) quality of so many of the artists receiving any attention....who's surprised?
Idiots, the whole lot of 'em. Screw the recording industry.
