my string sounds muffled can anyone help me? Rate Topic: -----

I was wondering if anyone could help me, cos my string sounds muffled and i don't know what to do. I think it's the G string (hah, g string) anyway, does anyone have any help? Thanx

How long has it been since you've put a new set of strings on ? My G seems like it's always the first one to go dead when my strings start to go bad. You might need a new set, or if you've recently changed strings, maybe you didn't get the barrel end against the wood where the pins are.

You could try using a compensated saddle
