how do you use a tuner yes....never used one before? Rate Topic: -----

how do you use one with an acoustic?

it's not that hard of a thing to do, but i admit someone normally has to show ya. alright grab your guitar, and turn on your tuner, put it somewhere like on your leg, table etc. when u hit a note, say low e, the e light, or an e should come up on the screen. Then the little line tells you if your note is sharp or flat. if the needle is to the left its flat, to the right its sharp, peace

i just use one of those tuners that plays a note and then you gotta just tune it by ear.
not that accurate, but helps you get the feel for waht stuff is supposed to sound like.
