Umm well Fender acoustics are pretty good, not the best though. I'd recomend the DG10.

Heres the specs.

you're gonna spend $1500 and buy a fender?

seriously????

try gibsons, santa cruz, taylor.......f-bomb, if you're gonna spend that kind of money on a guitar at a store, tell them to ship an f-bombing martin in! and if it's politics that they won't ship one in, then get a better guitar shipped in, for the martin price, because you can't have the guitar you "want."

also, there is ebay.

and i also tried out a gibson j-45 and a j-50, the j-45 sounded good but still 'twangy' compared to clapton's tone.

i will be trying out some guitars later tonight guitar.gif guitar.gif guitar.gif

My mom has a really cheap fender ($200). It plays pretty good but my sister's $150 Washburn sounds a hell of a lot better.

Definitely go with a Taylor, imo they are just as good if not better in some ways than Martins

If you really want Fender then I suggest to get a Guild guitar. They are top quality acoustics made by Fender.

I know for a fact that if you find the guitar you want and contact the distributor then you will be able to have it sent directly to your door, just ask for a p&p quote.
