So whats the back and sides? Solid What?

Ive not heard of them myself but seems like a reasonable prize for a solid wood job.

sorry, solid mahogany back and sides and neck, with ebony finerboard... no dot inlays but thats fine...
yeah designed in aust but made 'by hand' in vietnam.... a very very tidy guitar, very simple - no pickguard, binding or sound hole design stuff
it really punches through in the mids and has a very woody tone...
sound alright Adds?

For the price yeah. Id sooner go with that than say one of your low end martin that arnt even solid wood yet not alot different on the price. I doubt its hand made mind. Not what id call hand made anyway. Hand built maybe hand made im doubtfull. Not that its that inportant for what it is. Being made out there though id imagen it would need a few adjustments to get it to its best playability. They dont tend to set things up to well in them places and lets face it theres no such thing as the factory perfect guitar. Even high end models or gitars made by Gibson, taylor, martin ect never come perfect.

thanks...
when you say a 'few adjustments' could you be more specific....because when i got it home i put some new strings on it and it made a massive difference.... so a set up would include neck adjustment and intotation mainly, right...would there be anything else that i or a pro should look at to get it sounding its best? i mean its an acoustic what more could you do?

oh and while i'm here would you recommend bone nut and bridge/ or graphite? does it make a difference in sound or is it something that is unecessary?
thanks again...

Well i take it all your notes ring clear theres no fret buzz or anything otherwise you would have said so no worrys there but id be suprised if the intonation is spot on and id be suprised if the actions as good as it could be. It never is when you buy a new guitar you always need to have it set up even if its a 3 grand martin. Only time you would get it just how you wanted it would be if you was haveing it built for you or you pushed for a free set up when you bought the guitar which is something i always encorage wherever possable. Especialy if your paying a reasonable price for it. As far as the nut goes if it was me and id just bought a solid wood guitar then id be putting a nice bone nut and saddle on it myself. How much it will afffect the sound is debatesable but i think if you have a nice guitar then it should have good quality bits. In my case for the sake of the 2 quid or whatever it is for a nut and saddle why not put a better one on.
