I just got an accoustic and was wondering what are some good accoustic songs to play?

I find I cant play most of the stuff I play on electric on an accoustic
My setup

Fender Mexican strat Sunburst/maple

Cort Solid top Accoustic, fishman pickup

Marshall JCM 900 Dual Reverb 50watt Hi Gain combo (upgraded to Celestion G12 M Greenbacks and Class A conversion)

1985 Fender Telecaster 62 reissue (with some modern parts on it)

if you can get your hands on a cd called "even better than the real thing" vol 1 or 2 or even 3 is good, but they do acoustic versions of songs you would never do-its really good. acoustics songs though-eh jack johnson's really good, radiohead, bic runga too-check her out.

My favourite acoustic player is Tommy Emmanuel...........He's an absolute genius!....you should check him out.........be careful his songs are EXTREMLY COMPLICATED...........good luck! cool.gif

I'm also a huge fan of Tommy. Quite true, he's an absolute genius. Chet Atkins also.

But uhh...It all depends what sorta stuff you're into...

You could try the acoustic version of While my guitar gently weeps. Or just do it acoustically.
