i always find myself lost when playing guitar around other people - that is say at a party of some sort where we'd all be chilling, some people would be jamming, and some singing along. I personally look up the tabs to music that i like, but most of it is not necesssarily singalong or acoustic for that matter.. any suggestions on good acoustic songs that could be played as just chill? thanks

Wonderwall always goes down well. Everyone knows those words.

Don't fool yourself, she was heartache from the moment that you met her.

Knocking on heavens door?
If youre clever you can morph it from dylan to G'n'R. Or vice versa.

Why? The dylan one is good enough.

Yeah but you can involve the crowd with the Hey Hey Heys....

You are right though. Dylan is best.

Greenday - Time of your life
Bob Dylan - Blowing in the wind
Oasis - Don't look back in anger
Chuck Berry - My Ding a Ling (always a laugh!)
Cranberries - Zombie
James - Laid
James - Sit Down
Brown Eyed Girl
Breakfast at Tiffany's
REM - Man on the Moon
Greenday - Basket Case
Cold Play - Yellow
Athlete - Wires
Bryan Adams
Summer of 69.

There you go, theres a few to play, most are easy (ish!) but are all good to sing a long to.

Just about any Neil Young is good in that setting. Blue Rodeo too.

Just learn songs that you know your friends know and like, and play those. No big deal! I play Thin Lizzy - Dancing in the moonlight, and everyone sings along, though you wouldnt call that a typical "campfire" song!
