Walked into the guitar shop last night to pick up some strings and discovered this little beauty. It is "previously enjoyed" and went on display about 20 minutes before I came into the store. The dude at the shop just put a fresh set of strings on it. The best part is the price......... only $149 CDN!!!!!!!!! And now its mine, all mine.

new one

Looks nice. That herringbone is a nice touch too. If it sounds as good as it looks you got a good buy! cheers.gif

Yup, I thought it was a great deal. There's a bit of wear on the bridge but other than that there's not a mark on it.

Now for a name.....

If it's like most twelve-strings you'll probably eventually choose Yousonofabitch. laugh.gif

cheers.gif You might be able to do that tune on her. I used to many years ago do both "Lady Jane" and "Playing With Fire" using a 12-string. They are both truly perfect 12-string tunes.

I just got a 12 too, $200 USD. Samich, the "Greg Bennet" design (whoever he is). It does play very nice.

What songs do you use it for? "Hotel California" sounds sweet on mine.

If you were reffering to Samich, I believe that samich is short for sandwhich, which was named after the great Earl of Sandwhich, who was the first two try one. Personally i like turkey on wheat. But wutever you like.

good guitar too.
