Anyone heard of them or seen them live?

Yes, about ten years or so ago at an Old-Time Music Festival in West Virginia. They are very good, the only reason I wasn't super-impressed was because the festival had so many damn good musicians you almost became "numbed" to the greatness of the music being played (including Wayne Henderson, Dan Crary, Tony Rice, Norman Blake, Jeanie Ritchie, etc, etc, etc). I was most impressed by Jody Stecher (virtuoso guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle) who played both solo and as a duo with his wife Kate Brislin. Ginny often gives workshops on old-time vocal performance. I've seen a couple of them already scheduled for this summer in different places.
Un-plugged is not the same as
never-was-plugged-in-to-begin-with.
