im a beginner and i have an elecrtic squier strat. i was thinking of getting a cheap acoustic that i probably wouldnt use much so i wouldnt really care about brand does anyone have any advice where or if i can get a cheap acoustic and should i get nylon or steel strings?

Grab a pick and a tuner and goto some pawn shops.

Check a few shops out an pick one up you like. Thats how I got my first guitar; $250 bucks. 10 years later, I have other guitars, but I still have that one.
It's got scratches n dings n a couple of the notes buzz (so i don't play songs that go there), but I still have a fresh set of strings on it.
