so where is your typical place to play live acoustic guitar music, no other musicians, no backing vocals, just you and your trusty guitar? I did one at a bar the other day and went down a storm. It was great, brilliant atmospgere, everyone singing, applauding, shouting my name, it was such a high. I was thinking about coffee bars for the daytime but i think im a bit too rocky. So where do you guys play and where would you like to play?

Anywhere that regularly pays me a grand a night in cash to provide half-an-hour of my self-indulgent noise-making to an appreciative audience (who also want to buy my album). biggrin.gif

Most acoustic nights and open mics round my way take place in smaller, intimate bars. Nothing particularly lucrative really, although there's often a decent crowd.

I've done coffe shops, and small bars. I'm looking to try to get into Border's Books and do a gig there. They do a lot of singer/songwriter stuff.
