Have you guys used webstrings.com? I am wondering if they are just as good or better than the D'addario(sp) strings?

Well acording to there site they are just the same as any other but without the label as they are saying that all the major brands are made by the same handfull of people. So on that bases i think ill stick with Newtone which i have always done my best to promote. Ive not come across a better string yet.

I use webstrings. It is extremely convenient to go that route. If you buy more than 12 sets, then each set is only like $2.35. I usually get 24 sets. I can't remember at what amount, but if you spend a certain amount, shipping is free. I know that at the twelve set range shipping is free for sure, but I can't remember exactly what the price was. Also, you can buy different kinds of strings and get them all sent to you at once. This really helps me because I just order mandolin, Hard tension classical, light electric, and quite a few pairs of both the light and custom light 80/20 bronze and phosphor bronze acoustic strings. So it is really convenient in that aspect. The strings play just like any other non-coated string. The webstrings last just as long as the diadarrios or the martins. I play enough where I have to change out strings every 2 weeks, sometimes less. So the fact that they only cost $2.35 makes everything alot less burdensome on buying strings.

The only bad thing that I have found about webstrings is that they run out of stock all the time. I guess they get alot of orders.

Yes, I recently tried order some strings to try and most of what I wanted was out of stock. But I'm going to try them again when they come in.

When I first started using WEBSTRINGS, it was plentifull stock all the time. I think the popularity and prices have increased their sales to the point where they are running out of stock at a faster rate.

I finally just used up my last electric sets. I bought 30 packs of them on my last order which lasted 6 months +.

I always have a handful of extrs on me because someone ALWAYS breaks a string and don't have spares. For $2.35 a set, I don't worry too much about getting paid back like if I were to hand over a set of Elixirs.
