Well, it's been a while since I've been in this part of the forums. But let's get down to business. I've just re-strung my acousic and when I play it, I get this rattling sound. It's more pronounced in the bass strings, but you can hear it across all strings. I've narrowed the problem down to my high E's tuning peg. The little handle that you turn to do the tuning (I don't know the correct term) is loose and I don't know how to tighten it. I believe I have the CO-1C model of acoustic guitar, any help?

I had a similar problem. (Low E for me). The tuning knob rattled whenever I played. But my acoustic has a screw right in the top of the tuning knobs. I tightened it and that fixed everything. Is there any screws near/on the knob?

I'm assuming by CO-1C you're referring to a Guild. Like Sabbath said, there should be a little screw on the end of the tuning-button. Tighten it.
