Yamaha Fx350c TBS electric accoustic

I bought this guitar about 3 months ago in a small town music store which is very far away.

When i play it the A string it sort of makes a rattling noise. When I plug it into an amp it sounds great but if i get carried away the sound gets fuzzy then cuts out. especially if i hammer on the strings hard. I guess i shouldnt be so rough with it but i wasnt playing it any different than i played my other guitar and it never had problems.... after the sound cuts out i can only get it back if I: , if i tap lightly on the volume knob, or sometimes i need to tap on the bridge. it comes back and then it stays if i play very gentley with it.

do i try to get in contacxt with the guy who I baught it from? do i contact yamaha? also , i am having trouble finding the receipt which i bet will be a problem.

any suggestions?

thanks,
- james

sounds like you have a loose connection somewhere within the guitar. without anymore info, that's my best guess. check all the connections you can first.
"Oops, did I say that outloud?"
