I just bought a custom made thinline telecaster with a bigsby on it, and although it doesn't say Fender on it, I still think it's pretty cool. It's also signed by Joe Walsh and I got it for $500. Anyways, I've usually been mainly acoustic, and I have a Fender Acoustasonic Amplifier, if you know what that is. Its the biggest dual speaker acoustasonic amp made by fender. My question is, can I plug the telecaster into it? Would that be bad for either the guitar or the amp? And if I could then what would the sound be like? I'm at college right now and I left the amp at home 2 hours away. So if I can plug it in would the sound be good enough to bring the amp back here?

It should be fine. And the sound should be alright too. Acoustic amps are similar to electric guitar amps but tweaked a little for normal acoustic electronics. They don't usually have some of the effects built in you see more often on electric amps like overdrive or distortion, etc. Like playing "clean" kind of. But you should have no problem and it should sound okay.
