Good article, Jim. Thanks. Fred is a member of another blues site I'm a member of too. He has interesting anecdotes about John Hurt he's posted from time to time. Great article. I liked the mention of Skip's testiclar cancer and his testicle removal in the 60s and Skip's high voice! But then Skip sang in falsetto back in 1931 too. But listening to recordings from both eras, the mid-60s recordings' falsetto was much... purer. Interesting. Thanks!
