I got rid of the legendary bands thread to try to clean it up a little as there were quite a few repeats and discussions in it.

Here were the previous requests (in no particular order):
Rolling Stones
Beatles
AC/DC
Metallica
Pink Floyd
Cream
Ozzy
Iron Maiden
Nirvana
Aerosmith
Led Zeppelin
Metallica
Nirvana
Dire Straits
Bruce Springsteen
Megadeth
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Oasis
REM
Phish
Green Day
Radiohead
Bob Dylan
Neil Young
Tom Waits
Iron Maiden
Dream Theater
Malmsteen

This is also the place to request legendary people in the guitar world. I'd like to add Clarence Fender to that list, for starters, but please add more. I will try to update this list every once in a while.

If you would like to help out by writing a bio for any of these people, please make sure to include their biography and discogragphy. Triva and quotes are not essential, but they will help bring the bio to life. happy.gif

If you'd like to contribute a bio, please send it to or .

A bio has already been done for Guns n Roses. You can view it here:

The people on the list in this thread and bands that we're going to try to get around to doing bios for (or if other people would like to contribute them).

i could do a bio for nirvana.. I had to do a report about a musician in music class a few years ago so i did kurt cobain. So it would be more about kurt then nirvana. But if you want it just say something
Let the pretend take over
And that season be the first
Shadows we're in become us
So we set up interspersed
Between here and away
Become your space every day

When I get some free time, this coming week for example, I'd be willing to put together a bio on Phish. Or more specifically on Trey Anastasio if you want.

No mention of Jeff Beck anywhere? Disgraceful wink.gif
