I'm getting a new guitar for Christmas, and the one I have in mind can officially be bought nowhere online for a decent price, and there aren't anyshops within a three hour drive that still have any in stock. Trust me, I checked all of them, even the small ones. Anyway, while browsing through a couple of sites, I came across a guitar that had me rather interested. The main thing I've been wanting is a guitar intended to be plugged into an amp, but I enjoy playing an acoustic guitar too much.
I've come across a few guitars that are really thin, pretty close to being solid-body, but they use acoustic strings. I've grown fascinated with these guitars and really want one. I came across a guitar that is what I'm looking for, but I'm unsure about the company. It's an ESP guitar. Here's The Site The guitar I'm looking at is in their Xtone series, and is the PA-1 Semi Acoustic, as they have it labeled as. I'm trying to avoid going north of $600 at all costs, which I know gives me a very slim picking of what sort of guitar I could actually get. But any advice on this company, or perhaps a guitar to look at, I would be more than thankful. Also, I know this might possibly have been better in the Acoustic Guitar discussion, but this board is much more active and I've really got to get my decision made soon. So, I'm sorry in advance for that. Thank you for reading. -------------------- |

If they're good enough for Mustaine, they're good enough for you, chap.

If they're good enough for Mustaine, they're good enough for you, chap. Gonna be honest, never heard of Mustaine before. Call me deprived if you want. But I'm gonna assume he/they are/is pretty damn good for a statement like. Thanks for the reply. -------------------- |

What are LTDs?? ESP's budget line. I would imagine that the X Tones are made in Korea. The ones I played were pretty decent guitars. ESPs, Japanese ESPs with ESP on the headstock, are generally very nice guitars but are priced like really nice guitars. All things considered, if you really want an X Tone I doubt you will be disappointed. |

Esp's are awesome guitars. Pickups are great, sound is awesome, very good action. I approve.
If you have the money, try and get a ESP not a ESP/LTD -------------------- ![]() "Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day" - Roger Waters +2 Kkatarn Points |

I like the ESP signature model, the white flying V. Sexy. -------------------- www.e-karma.com
