The Fender Pro Junior, which is the smaller sized cousin of the Blues Junior is a force to be reckoned with. This 15 watt all tube bad boy packs volume and tone into one small little amp. With only 2 knobs, one volume and the other tone, this amp is great for the blues, country or rock player on a budget. With a classic design, silver grill cloth front and standard Fender tube amp design, this sucker looks almost as good as it sounds. The power cable is internal and can not be removed, however it can be neatly tucked into the cavity in the back for easy transportation.
I bought this amp due to conflicts with my Vox AD30VT and my Line 6 POD XT Live which required me to trade it in, this amp is a great replacement even though it doesnt have all the built in effects, which were causing the dulling of tones from my floorboard plus feedback issues in the first place. However you may think that 15 watts is nothing, however turn it up beyond 3 and it just gets blisteringly loud, this sucker will no doubt suffice for small or even medium venues if you choose to mic it. A very simple amp with great clean tones if you are into blues and it crunches up fairly well at loud volumes, however if it does not get thick enough without having to get a distortion box, having it biased properly would probably improve the sound for various tones, you could either get crisp clean tones or a thicker more mellow tone.
