Hey guys I've been messing around with some DMB songs and I made some videos and put them on Youtube.

I did:
The Stone
Warehouse
Two Step

I leave the singing to Dave, and they aren't played exactly like he does, they are just my little variations I made and it's just me and my acoustic.

The Stone
Warehouse
Two Step

And I'm a little embarassed about the head bobbing in TwoStep, I didn't even realize it until I watched it. Anyways any comments would be welcome, thanks for viewing.

First off, don't be embarrassed by the head-bobbing. I do it with a lot of songs I play that are very upbeat and very percussive.

As for the covers themselves. They were pretty decent for the most part. I caught a few times that you seemed to stumble over the notes, the Stone particularly, but the songs you picked are by no means the easiest to pull off. Some of the little variations you did yourself I thought worked, others I thought weren't so good. Overall, pretty nice covers.

My only real bit of anything, is that you seemed sort of stiff while you were playing. I don't know if its just me, but you really seemed sort of stiff as you played the songs, especially Two Step. You're strumming hand seemed to be everything from your elbow down, and you seemed like you were really pressing down on that fretboard. Again, might just be me.

Solid go though.

They are back in the studio working on a new album that is rumored to come out sometime near July, but I don't think there is proof backing this. Also I think their making a tour to Europe and Australia this year as well, but again, I'm not 100% on that one.

I have heard another album is in the works, they just did Stand Up in 2005, I saw them on the Winter Tour that year which was awesome (I have a good recording of the show from Dreamingtree.org actually). I know at the moment Dave is doing a solo tour of Europe, however the band is travelling with him.

Good job. Your next mission is to perfect Song 41. I am a firm believer that Song 41 will attract any gal. Keep up the good work.

Aye I have been trying to learn it, there is some tricky finger work in that song with weird positionings.

it's almost midway through '07, so i'm thinking that the new album will come out between the summer and winter (if there is a full band winter tour) tours.

A lot of them have easy fingerings, #41 is an interesting one though.
